Prefects
At Hogwarts, prefects are responsible 5th and 6th years who have the power to take away points [but not from other prefects] and "reward" people detentions. Prefects are expected to escort first years around Hogwarts the first night back as well as patrolling the hallways to reinforce curfew and keeping order in the common rooms. On the Hogwarts Express, prefects are to gather in their own compartment and monitor the train sporadically. As a reward, prefects have their own bathroom on the fifth floor.
Head Boys and Girls are seventh years who are expected to monitor prefects. They are usually past prefects, but that is not a requirement. If your character is a Head Boy/Girl, they have the same duties as prefects.
